(Old Town Street)
(Sin Yong Loong and Sin Yuan Foong)
Ipoh has been famous for white coffee for many generation thanks to its founder at Sin Yoon Loong and now it is a success. Sin Yoon Loong now known around the country for one of the best Ipoh street food location. Nevertheless, Sin Yoon Loong is reviewed on various food and beverages websites and listed as one of the tourist point of interests on the website. We also took the opportunity of our 2 days' holiday to go to Sin Yoon Loong. We never been there before so it is kind of exciting for us. Upon arriving on our destination, we were shocked that on the single street alone that there are more than 4 cafés that selling the famous “white coffee”.

We heard and seen many review that said it would be crowded most of the time so we decided to go reach there by 4:30pm (almost at closing). So, when we reached there we did not waste our time to do any of the sightseeing along the street. We will kick start our meal with the famous white coffee. The food is not costly and for the toast with soft-boiled eggs only cost RM4 (big).

(Toast topped with Soft-boiled egg)
As expected the white coffee was delicious. The coffee was aromatic in some unusual way. It is kind of bitter for me but I enjoyed it when I continue to drink it. On top of the ‘Dan chi’ was scrumptious. The toast was spread with butter. The toast was crispy and it was eaten with soft boiled eggs by added some soy sauce and pepper. The taste blend harmoniously in our mouth and it melted in our taste bud.

The menu also available for those who are unfamiliar with the variability of the food. As expected that the coffee shop has been reviewed in newspaper and the owner of the shop proudly framed the reviewed article and hang on the wall of their shop. There are also other snacks available in the front of the shop.
